# I-RCFA Service

## Debug Export
|
|
|
|
Debug snapshots are generated to help troubleshoot LLM interactions. By default, debug snapshots are **disabled** in all environments.
|
|
|
|
### Enabling Debug Export
|
|
|
|
To enable debug export in **development environment only**, set the `ENABLE_DEBUG_EXPORT` environment variable:
|
|
|
|
**Docker Compose:**
|
|
```yaml
|
|
environment:
|
|
- ENABLE_DEBUG_EXPORT=true
|
|
```

|
|
|
**Shell/Terminal:**
|
|

export ENABLE_DEBUG_EXPORT=true

### Debug Snapshot Location
|
|
|
|
When enabled, debug snapshots are saved to `debug/chat_debug_<timestamp>.md` with detailed information about:
|
|
- Conversation metadata
|
|
- LLM configuration
|
|
- Input/output messages
|
|
- Function call results
|
|
- Retrieved context documents
|
|
|
|
### Production Deployment
|
|
|
|
For production environments, ensure `ENABLE_DEBUG_EXPORT` is **not set** or set to `false` to prevent unnecessary file generation and potential disk space issues.
